Felecian "Felis" Joseph Guidry, 83, a native and resident of Galliano, was entrusted to God's loving care on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011 at The Lady of the Sea General Hospital in Galliano.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano and from 8 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Thelma Dantin Guidry; one son, Rudy John Guidry and wife, Cindy; one daughter, Glenda Sanamo and husband, Wesley; two grandchildren, Ross and wife, Brett, and Rhett Guidry; one great-grandchild, Ethan William Guidry; and two brothers, Early and Norman Guidry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aramise Guidry and Edelia Hebert Guidry; and brother, Herbert Guidry.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
