Evelyn "Ebby" Mary Anselmi

Evelyn “Ebby” Mary Anselmi, 78, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano passed away on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025.

Ms. Evelyn is survived by her brother in law: Druby Gisclair; nephews: Roddy Gisclair, Chris Adams, John Adams; nieces: Wendy Gisclair, Kelly Gros, Lesley Gisclair; and great nephews and nieces.

Ms. Anselmi was preceded in death by her parents: Walter W. Anselmi and Laura Plaisance Anselmi; sisters: Dorothy Adams and Ruth Gisclair; great nephew: Drake Gisclair; great niece: Reese Gisclair.

Ms. Ebby would like to thank her caregivers Tammy Gisclair, Evelyn Bouziga, John and Peggy Duet, Lesley Gisclair, and Toby Cheramie. Her family would like to thank the staff of ACG Hospice for their care and compassion.

Princess Ebby taught at Golden Meadow Jr. High for 33 years, loved traveling, going to Europe every summer for 23 years and visited every State in the US; and waiting for the mail to arrive to get her presents. She thought she was a princess and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 from 9:00 am until service time. A Celebration of her Life will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
