Evariste J. Grabert, Jr., 90, a native of Lockport and a resident of
Raceland, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, August 13, 2018 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mary B. Grabert and sons, David J. Grabert and Michael Pearson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Evariste J. Grabert, Sr. and Lucia Guidry Grabert; brothers, Hubert and Euclid Grabert and sisters, Esther G. Mayet, Hilda G. Falgout, Ada G. Breaux and Eunice G. Falgout.
Evariste was a member of the 40 and 8; American Legion and VFW.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
