Evanlyn Frickey Folse

Evanlyn Frickey Folse, 67, a native of Bayou Gauche, LA and a resident of Duck Hill, MS, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche, LA.
She is survived by her husband Daniel J. Folse, Jr.; daughters, Danielle Folse Poplin (Jeff Sr.) and Marce D. Folse (Bryan); son Chance Folse (Rebecca); grandchildren, Kayla, Macy and Bradley, Jeff Jr., Andre, Alaiya, Adrian, Logan Sr., Noah. Adam J. and Chase; great grandchildren, Jayden, Quinn, Koda and Logan Jr.; brothers, Charles Frickey (Peggy), Ronald Frickey (Rose) and Farrell Frickey (Donna) and sister, Gretchen Losito (Frank).
She was preceded in death by her son, Adam Paul Folse and parents, Evans and Marceline Meyer Frickey.
Evanlyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a very generous person with a huge heart. She was strong willed with a stubborn streak. Family members referred to her as the “Unsinkable Molly Brown”. She was the matriarch and glue that held our family together.
