Eva H. Adams Smith, 94, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth J. Smith and wife, Geraldine L. Smith; daughter, Mary Elaine Courtney; grandchildren, Bonnie Boulton, David, Brian, Frank, Christopher, Gregory and Eva Smith, Kim Scott Millien, Leon Scott, and Damon and Chantel Smith; great-grandchildren, Shay and Danté Picou, Taylor Smith, Tanya Portier, Victoria Hallmon, Elizabeth Scott, Ryan Copeland, Shelbie Sheldon, Roman Copeland, Kade Terrebonne, Torren Smith, Cameron Randazzo, Elijah Smith and Chase Millien; great-great-grandchildren, Tré and Evan Hallmon, Christina Portier, Brandon Portier, and Alex Smith; and sister, Rosemary Pitre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Smith; parents, Hennessey Adams and Alcidia D. Adams; son, Patrick "Smokey" Smith; brothers, Fred, John and Jackson Adams; and sisters, Lorenza Duet and Freddia Orgeron.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
