Eva Theriot Shaner, 94, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and resident of Fort Worth, TX, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Eva was the mother of Bobbie Shaner Jones of Fort Worth, TX and Robert Ritchie Shaner of New Orleans, LA. She was also survived by two grandsons, Chance Matthew Jones and Parrish Ryan Jones; granddaughter, Megan Shaner Kirchem; great grandsons, Nicholas and Samuel Jones, Charles Joseph and Cooper Kirchem; and two great granddaughters, Annabelle and Allie Jones.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Hondo Layne Jones; husband, Robert Reed Shaner; parents, Eliska Boudreaux and Leon Theriot; seven brothers, Henry, Paris, Victor, Davis, Leon Jr., Leopold and Leo Theriot and three sisters, Mrs. Ramis Lafont (Vien), Mrs. Joseph Lee (Henrietta), and Mrs. Eric Plaisance (Celima).
Eva was a parishioner of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Fort Worth, TX.
In lieu of flowers, please have masses said.
Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort Worth, TX and Falgout Funeral Homes in Galliano, LA are in charge of arrangements.
