Eunice B. Corts

Eunice B. Corts, age 99, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at home in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a native of Missouri and had resided most recently in Baton Rouge for 11 ½ years and prior to that spent 50 years of her life as a resident of Houma. Mrs. Corts was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Houma. She was a member of the Eastern Star and had worked as an office clerk in LA State Government. Eunice will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen Lee Corts and wife Juanita and Frank E. Corts and wife Judy, grandchildren, Donna Yagel, Jason Bergeron, Lawrence Corts, Edward Corts, Jr., Kelle Poche, great-grandchildren, Emily Bernard, Gabrielle Poche, Edward Corts, III, Kylie Bergeron, Kristin Bergeron, great-great-grandchildren, Asher and Olivia Bernard.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, William Miles Corts, parents, Edward Bryant and Magaritt Dell Bryant, brothers, Pryor, Arthur, and Perry Bryant, sisters, Pearl Bryant Watson and Lea Bryant Manes.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Falgout Funeral Home located at 211 Westside Blvd. in Houma. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Falgout Funeral Home located at 211 Westside Blvd. in Houma. The Order of the Eastern Star will be officiating for the funeral service. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, LA. Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
