Eula Mary Champagne

Eula Mary Foret Champagne, 95, native of Raceland, LA and resident of Luling, LA, passed peacefully to be with our Lord on February 10, 2025. Services will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling, on Thursday, February 13th. The Rosary and prayer will begin at 8:30 AM for those who wish to join. Visitation will follow at 9:00 AM, followed by Holy Mass at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.

Eula is survived by her daughter-in-law, Junie; grandchildren, Carrie Folse (Heath), Casey Kramer (Mark), Steven Champagne and Marylane Miletello (Matt); great grandchildren, Mia, Daniel, Gemma, Isla, Greysen, Ilsa and Hutton; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert Champagne; son, Craig Champagne; parents, Hypolite and Veleda Autin Foret; sister, Alcida Foret Tassin; brothers, Simon, Merrill, Alcide and Hubby Foret. 

 Eula was a kind, vibrant soul who loved God and her family. She was a lifetime member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, a member of the Ladies Altar Society and she spent many years singing in the choir at mass. In her younger years, she could be seen tending to her beautiful flower garden, clowning around at the Luling parade, volunteering around the community and ringing her cowbell at Hahnville football games. She was a proud cancer survivor and supporter of the cause. She will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her. 

 The family would like to sincerely thank Ashton Manor for their wonderful care of her over the past few years, as well as Haydel's Hospice.
