Ethel "Sue" Aston Douthitt

Ethel “Sue” Aston Douthitt, 81, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023. She was a native of Randolph, MS and resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, beginning at 9:30 a.m. until a memorial service at 12:00 p.m.

Sue is survived by her son, Patrick Bergeron and wife, Lisa; daughter, Sherry Hitt; brother, Hubert Aston; sisters, Carolyn Boatwright and Mary Ellen Bergeron; grandchildren, Karla Verdin, Jeremy Chauvin, Kenny Rogers, Victoria Creel, Amber Bergeron, Gaines Douthitt, Mala’Khai Douthitt, and Anjali Douthitt; and great-grandchildren, Jaidyn, Maddox, Jaxton, Lennox, and Nash.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Douthitt; parents, James Earl and Ethel Singleton Aston; son, Gary A. Douthitt; son-in-law, Phil Hitt; brothers, Willie, Buron, John, and Thomas Aston; and sisters, Trilla Blue, Mattie Nabors, and Maxine Braddock.
