Ethel Adams Rome, 85, a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 8:29 PM in Houma, LA.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM Monday, October 7, 2013 at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday at Holy Savior Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Olivia Pierron and husband Leroy, Karen Folse and husband Bryan, Ginger Dominique and husband Brian; daughter-in-law, Susan Rome, brother, Adolph Adams, Jr.; sisters Marion Birdsall, Wanda Danos, Sheila Adams, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William George Rome, Sr.; son, William George Rome, Jr.; parents Adolph Adams, Sr. and Jean Boudreaux Adams; brother Murphy Adams; sisters Maude Ulrich, Aline Curole and 1 grandchild.
