Ethel Chiasson

Ethel Breaux Chiasson, 90, a native of Larose and resident of Lockport, died at 2:50 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Rudy A. Chiasson and wife, Janet; one daughter-in-law, Myrline Chiasson; two brothers, Clarence and Numa Breaux; three sisters, Victoria Yarbrough, Daisy Taylor and Laura Rouse; and four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy J. Chiasson Sr.; her parents, Duffy Breaux Sr. and Victoria St. Pierre Breaux; one son, Teddy "Ted" Chiasson Jr.; three brothers, Alben, Duffy Jr. and Lester Breaux; five sisters, Mable Rodrigue, Annie Duet, Lula Vizier, Elsie Edwards and Emelda Guilbeau; and one grandchild.
She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
