Ethel C. Adams, 90, a native of Lockport and a resident of Golden Meadow, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8th, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Hebert Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Delena Smith and husband, Ed, of Smithville, Ark., Ena Brunet and husband, Elton "Ko-Ko" of Cut Off, Linda Bourriague and husband, Frank, of Scott, and Debbie Garner and husband, Johnny, of Cut Off; grandchildren Duane Brunet and wife, Amy, Monique Pitre and husband, Jody, Cherise Swander and husband, Stephen, Ron Brunet and wife, Desiree, Jill Morgan and husband, Greg, and Holly Bourriague; great-grandchildren, Katie and Allie Brunet, Gavin, Grant and Caroline Pitre, Stephen David and Camille Swander, Landon and Lucy Brunet, Christian and Jean-Luc Morgan, and Dru Bourriague; sisters, Audrey Oubre and Lois Deroche; brother, Erjie Chiasson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Adams; her parents, Jules and Nora Griffin Chiasson; brothers, Warren "Guy" Chiasson, Hubert Chiasson, and Werlin "Bay" Chiasson.
She was a church volunteer for many years who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially during the Mardi Gras season. She was a homemaker who spent many loving years caring for children in her home.
