Esther P. Rodriguez, 91, a native and resident of Mathews passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday and from 8-10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with burial in Resurrection Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Alex "Red" Rodriguez and Dean Rodriguez; daughter, Sharon R. Adams; brother, Gilbert Plaisance; sisters, Elsie Matherne and Velma Arabie; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emmett Rodriguez; second husband, Merlin Boudreaux; sons, Rodney Rodriguez and Barry Rodriguez; parents, Alex and Amelia Dufrene Plaisance; three brothers; nine sisters and one great-grandchild.
