Esperance Marie "Lou Loul" Lee Serigny, 86, a resident of Galliano and Golden Meadow native, died Friday Sept. 23, 2011.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church followed by a burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She was survived by one brother, Patterson Lee; three sisters, Josephine Lee, Bridgette Holcomb and Juline Serigny; numerous nieces and nephews; her adopted family, Laura Serigny Pitre, Chauncy Serigny Sr., Yvonne Serigny, Sandy St. Pierre, Julie Cheramie and Corey Serigny Sr; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olivier Serigny Jr.; her parents, Joseph Lee Sr. and Theresa Dantin Lee; three brothers, Joseph Lee Jr., Harris Lee Sr. and Anderson Lee; two sisters, Elvina Lee and Marie Mobley; her adopted family, Eunice J. Serigny Sr., JoAnn Serigny, Eunice Serigny Jr., Yvette Serigny and Rhoda Serigny and two great grandchildren.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. She was known for her caring nature, generosity and her dedication to religion.
