Ernest Vedros

Ernest J. Vedros, 77, a native of Mathews and resident of Lockport, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Theoma Levert Vedros; daughters, Priscilla Vedros Waguespack and husband, Carl, and Michelle Vedros Foret and husband, Leon III; grandchildren, Leon Foret IV, Ashley Waguespack Bergeron and husband, Craig, and Aaron Waguespack; stepmother, Bella Vedros; sisters, Brenda Vedros, and Linda Vedros Landry and husband, Wallace; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Ida M.
