Enola “Paloot” Plaisance, 80, a native of Lafitte and resident of Galliano passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021.
A visitaion will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9:00 am until service time. A parlor service will begin at 1:00 pm with procession following to her burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Mrs. Enola is survived by her children; Mavis Bourgeois, Melanie Bourgeois (Tommy), Melissa Callais (Timmy), Michelle Plaisance, and Armand Plaisance, Jr., grandchildren; Beth, Ernie, Devin, Sarah, Tommy, Tyler, Gracie, Taylor, Katie, Jenna, Meghan, Lauren, Kayla, and Bethany, great grandchildren; Eli, Chevy, Levi, Scarlett, Juliet, Violet, Emma, Gabe, Kaden, Blaze, Lawson, Hannah, Madilyn, Liliana, Junior, Landon, Charleigh, Kenedi, and Bastien, siblings; Margie Hibben, Gloria Morris, Eula Mae Demolle, Nita Demolle, Millie Kendrick, Cathy Bourgeois, Ray Creppel, and Nathan Creppel, godchild; Dawn Luther and Ray Creppel, and many, many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Mrs. Plaisance was preceded in death by her husband; Armand Plaisance, Sr., daugher; Margie Desormeaux, grandchildren; Spence, John Mark, and Dennis, parents; Gus and Elida B. Creppel, siblings; Gus Creppel, Audrey Rivero, Lilly Belle Creppel, and Jimmy Creppel, son-in-law; Ernest Bourgeois, Jr.
Paloot loved to sew, quilt and watch videos to learn new techniques. She loved to spend time with her family and she always looks forward to her monthly family dinners. She loved her siblings and all her grandchildren were her favorites. She was a devout Christian and loved to read her Bible
