Enola D. Cheramie, 78, a native of Larose, died at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, with family and close friends at her bedside.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with interment at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She is survived by her husband, Murphy "Fry" Cheramie; three sons, Irwin Gisclair Jr., David Gisclair and Toby Gisclair; three stepdaughters, Cindy C. Louviere, Dora Mae Cheramie and Leonise "Lee" Cheramie; one brother, Forest Domangue and wife, Shirley; and six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Domangue and mother, Cecile Domangue; three brothers, Noles "Joe" Schouest, and Edward and Peter Domangue; one son, Mike Gisclair; and one stepson, Wade "Fritz" Cheramie.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
