Emily Pertuit

Emily Pertuit, 56, of Raceland passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017, in Lockport, FIGHTING cancer.
As of her wishes, there will be no services held.
Emily was born on August 27th 1960. She was raised by 2 loving parents along with her 10 brothers and sisters. She worked many years at local businesses where she became a friend to all. She raised 2 daughters whom later blessed her with 2 sons-in-law who'd do anything for her and 2 grandsons she loved and spoiled, of course. She had an addictive smile, a heart of gold, and was always there for anyone in need. Her favorite past time was simply spending time with her family and friends. She loved life and thanked God for all the time he gave her. Every day with her was a good day. If you knew her you loved her.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Tiffany Wegner (John) and Nikki Adams (Benjamin); 2 grandsons Ian Wegner and Benjamin Adams Jr.; 10 brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; a big loving family; many cherished friends; and her fur babies.
