Emilia Galiano

Emilia Perrin Galiano, 91, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano passed away March 26, 2017. A visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 8:00 am until service time. A Memorial Mass will begin at 10:00 am with burial following in the church cemetery.

Ms. Emelia is survived by her grandchildren, Emily Galliano, Amber Galliano, Brandy Galliano, and Jamie Cheramie; 3 great grandchildren, Jasmene, Felton and Joy Galliano and 2 great-great grandchildren, Nevaeh Dardar and Armani Galliano.

Ms. Galiano was preceded in death by her husband, Felton Galiano Sr.; sons Steven Galliano and Felton Galiano Jr.; parents, Etienne and Emelia Perrin; grandson Felton Jude Galliano; brother, Melville Perrin; and sister Cecelia Perrin.

She was a retired school teacher for 32 years and belonged to Alpha Delta Kappa teacher association. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. She started Galliano Waste Disposal with her husband in the 1970's.
