Elwin P. LeBouef, 74, a native of Bourg and resident of Houma passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Thursday, April 7th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Marguerite D. LeBouef; children, Elwin P. LeBouef, Jr., Nealus LeBouef, Jason (Tina) LeBouef, Elmire (Joey) Bergeron, Margo (Mark) Martin, Freddy (Paula) Danos, Eva Charpentier and Timmy (Ekarini) Martin; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Earl (Betty) LeBoeuf, Dennis (Rhonda) LeBouef and Kirt (Michelle) LeBouef; sisters, Earline (Murphy) Renois, Elaine Smith, Mona (Gordon) Dove and Dinah (Carl) Domangue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gillis, Sr. and Maudry Martin LeBouef; grandchild, Hidie LeBouef; brothers, Gillis LeBoeuf, Jr. and Mark S. LeBoeuf.
The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice, Knight of Columbus, Ushers and parishioners of Holy Rosary, and everyone else who helped.
Elwin was a cook on offshore rigs, boats and restaurants. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and an usher at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church.
