Elvire B. Billiot

Elvire B. Billiot, 89, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and a resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at Holy Savior Little Church, Lockport, LA with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Thelma B. Griffin, Joyce B. Crosby (Larry), Russell Billiot (Lynette) Velma B. Boudreaux, Magnelta “T-Mack” Billiot, Jr. (Julie), and Irvin Billiot (Jessica D.); son-in-law, Leonard Loupe; 27 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Magnelta Billiot, Sr.; sons, Steve Billiot and Melvin Billiot, Sr.; daughters, Frances B. Loupe and Lisa B. Detillier; sons-in-law, Edmond Griffin, Sr., Patrick Boudreaux, Johnny Detillier, Jr.; 1 grandchild and 2 great grandchildren; parents, Augustin and Almire Billiot and sister, Viola Naquin.
Elvire enjoyed gardening. She loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to her caregiver Tina Domangue and Journey Hospice for the loving care they have provided.
