Elta "Ta-Ta" St. Pierre

Miss Elta “Ta-Ta” Marie St. Pierre, 88, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano, LA.
She is survived by her brothers, Douglas St. Pierre, Sr. and Gilbert St. Pierre, Sr. (Belinda); sister, Diana Hebert; sister-in-law, Dorothy St. Pierre Gisclair and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred St. Pierre, Sr.; mother, Lillian “T-Yan” Cheramie St. Pierre; brothers, Wilfred Jr., Tony, and Steven St. Pierre, Sr.; brother-in-law, Larry Hebert and sister-in-law, Linda St. Pierre.
Ta-Ta loved cooking, sewing, working in her yard and going to the casino. She spent much of her life caring for her parents and other family.
The family would like to send a huge thanks to all the amazing staff at The Broadway Elder Living and Rehabilitation for making her feel at home while she was there. Thanks also to Notre Dame Hospice.
