Elnora S. Gaspard 85, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Grand Isle passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Thursday, July 29th from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Dudley “Butch’ Gaspard, Jr. (Susan) and Dodie Vegas (“Buggie”); grandchildren, Rainey Blanchard (Albert), Bryan Gaspard (Gracie), Rene’e Pennison (Jared) and Robert Vegas; great-grandchildren, Brynn, A.J., Amaya, Anya, Analeya, Aundraya, Noah, Ethan, Joshua, Vail, Brec and Anthony; sisters, Doris Toups and Rema Amos.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley “Dud” Gaspard, Sr.; father, Sam Stricklan; mother, Amelia Rousse; brother, Jay Rousse.
