Elizabeth “Libby” Gisclair, 70, a native and resident of Cut Off, went to join her beloved husband in Heaven on Saturday, August 6, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.
Visitation will be held at House of Prayer Church, in Larose, on Wednesday, August 10th from 9 am until service time. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
Libby is survived by her daughter, April Gisclair; son-in-law, Chris Cheramie; grandchildren, Matthew, Amber and Luke. She leaves behind 3 brothers, Nolan (Charlotte), Ted (Mary) and Ned (Lena) Boudreaux; 3 sisters, Arlene Boudreaux, Penny (Perry) Naquin and Dovie (Ricky) Naquin; brother-in-law, Rodney (Miriam) Gisclair; sister-in-law, Angela (Chad) LeBlanc, nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Libby was preceded in death by her husband, Perry J. Gisclair; parents, Nolan and Virgus Boudreaux; sisters, Myrna Cheramie and Darlene LeBoeuf; father-in-law, Adam “Ted” Gisclair and mother-in-law, Mabel Gisclair.
She will be missed by many due to her friendly nature and years spent working to help others. The family would like to thank Lafourche Ambulance, Lady of the Sea Hospital, and Thibodaux Regional Hospital for their loving care.
