Elizabeth "Betty" Chamberlain, 74, a native of Labadieville and resident of Raceland, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Chris Chamberlain; daughter, Michelle Matherne; grandchildren, Jeremy Parks, Gwen Bruce, Victoria Benoit, and Micha Matherne; great-grandchild, Landyn Bruce; and brother, Gary Blanchard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Chamberlain; daughter, Gretchen Benoit; and parents, Emile and Anna Blanchard.
She was a volunteer at Raceland Junior High School and Raceland Recreation Center.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
