Elgene P. Fournier, 91, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Friday, February 20, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Glenda Rogers and husband Maudries, Meryl C. Foret and husband Stanley and 3 grandchildren, Kirk P. Foret, Kelly Foret and Chris Foret.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mona M. Fournier; parents, Etienne Fournier, Sr. and Cecile R. Fournier; brothers, Lester, John, Novin, Herbert, Robert, Alden, Glynn, Etienne Jr., Peter Fournier and sister, Marie Pitre.
