Elery A. Morvant Sr., 84, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 10:20 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Elery A. Morvant Jr.; and brother, Wilton Morvant.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Morvant; his parents, Sidney Morvant Sr. and Edith D. Morvant; one brother, Sidney Morvant Jr.; and sister, Edith Waguespack.
He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
