Jerry Murry, 77, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, in Raceland, on Saturday, July 29th from 11 am until 12 noon. A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon.
Jerry is survived by his loving daughters, Tracie Murray of New Orleans and Tanja Taylor of Georgia (George Brewster); grandchildren, Timothy Murray, Torri Murray and Cody Taylor; great-grandchild, True Murray; brother, John Murry of Houston, TX and sister, Almetia Goff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Wolfe and Alice Hamilton; brothers, James Wheaten and Clifford Hamilton; sisters, Sheldon Morrison and Juanita Thomas.
Jerry proudly ran Murry’s Roofing Company for over 40 years. He was a very giving person.
The family would like to thank, Marcielle Thomas for her excellent care and compassion.
