Effie Plaisance Romero, 87, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 3rd from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Effie is survived by her sons, Terry LeBoeuf and companion Marjorie Neal and Wayne LeBoeuf; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and brother, Nessie Plaisance.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell LeBoeuf and second husband, Joseph Romero; parents, Philocles and Josephine Foret Plaisance; sisters, Adriel Price and Lorraine Nation and brothers, Warren, Whitney, Randolph, Sedric Cleveland, Godfrey and Conrad Plaisance.
In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in her name are preferred.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
