Edward Gene Scott, 43, a native of Quartzsite, Ariz., and resident of Houma, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy Rodrigue Scott; mother and stepfather, Mary Gilbert Scott and Frank Scott; father, Gene Howard and companion, Donna Rodenz; sons, Brandon Blehi, Edward Daniel Scott and Justin Lee Scott; stepdaughters, Sarah Daigle Adams and husband, Sean, and Lauren Daigle Viguerie and husband, Adam; grandchildren, Madeline, Isabelle, Grace and Baby Adams who is due in July; brother, Kym Scott; sisters, Sandy Scott, Kathy Lodywick and husband, Andy, and Rhonda Lennox; grandmother, Angie Scott; nieces and nephews, Hailey, Jordan, Jeffery, Helena, Caden, Stephen Kyle, Kyla, and Cassidy; and grand-niece, Lailah.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Scott; and grandparents, Eva Gilbert and Jesse Scott.
He was an avid sports fan who loved his children and grandchildren, and will be missed by all.
He was employed by Ryder Logistics.
