Edward Paul Pertuit, 87, a native and resident of Raceland, LA passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Folse Pertuit; sons, Wayne Pertuit (Mary), Jeff Pertuit, Todd Pertuit (Stacey); sisters, Robina Duplantis, Doris Hoob; grandchildren, Leif, Chelsi, Clint, Erica , Kane and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benson and Josephine Pertuit; daughter-in-law, Melinda Pertuit; brothers, Nelson, Howard, Harold Pertuit and sister, Deette Zeringue.
He was an avid cattleman.
