Edward "Ba Ba" Orgeron Sr., 70, a native and resident of Larose, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cornelia "Co Co" Orgeron, two sons, Edward Orgeron Jr. and wife, Kelly, and Steve Orgeron and wife, Tricia; six grandchildren, Chase Orgeron, Tyler Spotts, Cody Orgeron, Parker Orgeron, Amy Orgeron and James Orgeron; one great-grandchild, Siddalie Orgeron; and two sisters, Melva Bouvier and Elaine Gisclair.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Orgeron Sr. and Maria Savoie Orgeron; nine brothers, Julian Jr., Maurice, Rodney, Harrington, Alvin, Medrick, Alvie, Loyman, and Paul Orgeron; and one sister, Irene Scurlock.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
