Edward "Eddie" J. Orgeron

Edward “Eddie” J. Orgeron, 73, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mona Gisclair; son, Casey Orgeron; daughter, Leah Sandras; step son, Woody Collins; step daughters, Starr Remont (Chris), Alicia Doucet (Wes) and grandchildren, Jordan, Sydney, Maggie and Derrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Severin “Mitch” Orgeron and Lea’ Ledet Orgeron; brothers, Robert, James, Daniel and Donald Orgeron and sisters, Annie Bouillion and Bessie Fanguy.
Eddie was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Raceland American Legion and VFW.
