Edward J. "Bo-Boy" Borne Sr., 69, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away August 8, 2016. Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Friday, August 12, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off from 9:30 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Peggy Borne, sons Edward "T-Boy" Borne Jr. and Raymond Borne (Nekki T. Borne), daughters Shellie B. Lasseigne (Matt) and Sharla B. Comeaux (Corey), grandchildren Ashton (Melissa), Amber, Edward III "Beau", and Cody Borne, Shelbie, Hayden, and Mattie Lasseigne, Josh and Caroline Comeaux, Trake and Talon Shicksnider, great grandchild Noah Edward Borne, brother Steven "UU" Borne, sisters Leona Borne Plaisance (Clinton), Lorisa Borne "NeNis" Dantin (Milton) and Rose Craver.
He was preceded in death by his parents Avaris and Shirley L. Borne, brothers Johnny, Albert, Claude, Harry, Tilton "T-Nue" and Landry Borne, George Sloan, and Clarence Bourgeois Jr., and sisters Lorina Borne and Ella "LaLa" Borne.
Bo-Boy will be remembered for his hard work, love of the outdoors and open waters.
