Edna "Dee" Duplantis Foret, 89, a native of Chauvin and a resident of Houma, died on Thursday, December 01, 2016.Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time on Monday, December 5 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A prayer service will be held at 11 AM on Monday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales cemetery II.She is survived by her sons, Peter Foret and Dale Foret and wife, Sheila; brother, Alfred "Fred" Duplantis Sr.; grandchildren, Clifford and Patrick Foret; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Jade Champagne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Foret; parents, Wilson Duplantis Sr. and Marguerite Duplantis; siblings, Wilson Duplantis Jr., Wilsey Duplantis, Murphy Duplantis Sr., Laurella LeCompte, Roseline Orgeron, and Gladys Picou.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to family.
