Edna Plaisance Danos

Edna P. Danos, 99, a native and resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020.
Visitation will be from 8:30 am until 9:30 am on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Wearing mask and social distancing required.
She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Fontenot and Brenda Callais (Herbert); grandchildren, Derek Danos (Monica), Dale Griffin, Andrew Griffin (Kimberly), Timmy Callais (Renette), Trisha Stoll (John) and Lynette Duet (Darren); step grandchildren, Tamera Fontenot and Gilbert Fontenot (Van); 14 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and 2 step great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eddie Doucet; second husband, Paul J. Danos; daughter, Amanda Danos (Harris); son-in-law, Joe Fontenot; parents, Henry and Anastasia Plaisance; brother, Henry “Frog” Plaisance; sisters, Velma Danos, Clara Mae Bruce and Shirley Danos; grandson, Darrell Danos and great grandson, Jeffery Griffin..
Edna was an aide for various priest at the nursing home. She enjoyed puzzles and sewing. She will be missed by all.
