Edith White Hotard, 88, a native of Dulac and resident of Des Allemands, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021.
Visitation will be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, on Thursday, January 7th from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Edith is survived by her children, Darryl Hotard (Terri), Vickie Hotard, Myra Bass (Bobby) and Melissa Mayet (Billy); 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brothers, Floyd and Nolan White; sisters, Alice Palmer, Oletta Chatagnier, Mae Bourg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Joseph Hotard; parents, Nicholas and Eva White; sons, Keith and Gordon Hotard; brothers, Nicholas Jr, Eli and Julius White and sisters, Inez Dupre and Cecile Gauthier.
Edith was a parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Alter Society.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
