Edgar J. Boudreaux, 82, a native of Mathews, LA and a resident of Gheens, LA, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gheens, LA. Burial will be private.
He is survived by his wife, Marvely Boudreaux; daughters, Shelly B. Hebert (Scott) and Amy B. Martin (Blaine); grandchildren, Collin, Chloe’ and Landyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Numa and Ophelia Boudreaux; brothers, Chester, Carol and Edward “Pookie” Boudreaux and sisters, Hazel Simon and Eunice St. Pierre.
Edgar enjoyed fishing, dancing and baking and just sitting in the yard. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered by his beautiful smile.
