Dustin M. Moore, 31, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Mathews, passed away with his loving wife, Michelle Fonseca Moore on Thursday, November 25, 2021.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Monday, November, 29th from 6:30 pm until 9 pm and will continue on Tuesday, November 30th from 8:30 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11am with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands.
Dustin is survived by his son, Mikah Luke Moore; father, Langar “Rocky” Moore Jr. (Becky); mother, Teri Goodroe; sisters, Kalie Nicole Goodroe and Karli Rae Goodroe; step-brother, Brad Lirette (Chelsea); step-sister, Candise Lirette; grandmother, Ruth Bergeron Pratts (Hank).
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Michael “Mickey” Voisin Sr., Maxine Voisin and Langar Moore Sr. and nanny, Sherry Fontenot.
Dustin was generous, outgoing and loved by many. He was passionate about the fun things in life and loved his wife, son and family unconditionally. He was quick to help anyone in need and loved being on the water with his family and friends catching the big ones.
