Dudley Plaisance

Dudley "Dud" J. Plaisance, 86, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away on May 19, 2018. A visitation will take place at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Dudley is survived by his wife of 55 years; Missy A. Plaisance, children; Irene (Ray), Erris (Darlene), Linda, Chris (Richele), Clark, and Mark, 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sisters; Eliska, Jackie (Terry), Amie Belle, and sister in law; Lucretia Nacio.

Mr. Plaisance was preceded in death by his parents Celima and Eric Plaisance, sisters; Elenore (Roland), Janet (Dalton), Judy (Carroll), Loredia (Nolan), Louvinia (Leroy), and brother; Dickerson (Mae), father in law; Francois Anatio, mother in law; Marcelline C. Anatio, brothers in law; Antoine, Albert, Hypolite, Jerry, and sisters in law; Frances, Lucy, and Pauline.

Due to medical reasons, in lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Mr. Dudley's name to Children's Hospital, 200 Henry Clay Ave. New Orleans 70118.
