Douglas Gene Plaisance, 80, a native and resident of Cut Off, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024
Douglas is survived by his sons, Audie Plaisance (Jenny) and Darby Plaisance, grandchildren, Bethany, Justin, Breeanon, Jared, Jennica, Holden, Jobie, Sophia and Gabriel; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Noah, Stella and Gavin; sister, Emma P Collins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean St. Pierre Plaisance; daughter, Tina Plaisance; parents, Francois “Horace” Plaisance and Rosella St. Pierre Plaisance; brothers, Antoine “T-Tit” Plaisance and Allen “A.J” Plaisance; sister, Rose P. Orgeron, Lovinia P. Thibodaux and Rosemary P. Rousse.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 5th at 12 noon in Sacred Heart Cemetery, in Cut Off.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
