Douglas Paul Lovell, age73, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025. He was a native and resident of Theriot, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Sunday, March 23, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, March 24, 2025, beginning at 8:30 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in St. Eloi Cemetery.

Douglas is survived by his son, Chance Lovell and companion, Amanda; daughters, Raquel, Courtney, and Harley Lovell; brothers, Donald Lovell and wife, Barbara, and Tony Lovell; sister, Linda Lovell and husband, Clayton; sister-in-law, Beverly Lovell; brother-in-law, Rodney Parfait; grandchildren, Zachary Lacoste and companion, Cynthia and Paighton Lacoste, Caleb Lovell, Lexie and Zoey Odom; and great-grandson, Karson Cao.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Julius Lovell, Sr. and Elta Mary Billiot; brothers, Weldon and Anthony, Jr. Lovell; and sisters, Kathy, Carolyn, and Veronica Lovell.
