Dorothy "Dot" T. Pagliughi

Dorothy “Dot” T. Pagliughi, 95, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, on Wednesday, December 15th at 9:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Dot is survived by her children, Charlene Stein (Tom), Victoria Dvorak (William), Angie Wade (Joe), Peter Pagliughi (Maureen), Charles Pagliughi and Jane Callais (Lee); 13 grandchildren, Michael (Katie), David (Jayne), Eric, Elizabeth (Larry), Danica, Amy (Jace), Terez (Peyvand), Stephanie (James), Shavonne, Andrew, Tomi, Teddy (Samantha) and Caroline; 10 great grandchildren, Henry, Elliot, Alexandra, Maxwell, Madeline, Brynlee, Cameron, Maddox, Liam, Blake; sister, Jane “DeDe” Hall and her canine companion, Hannah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Bruce Pagliughi; daughter, Mary Claire Brisendine; parents, Blanchard and Zelide Terrebonne and brother, David Terrebonne.

Dot was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church where she was a member of the church choir as well as Our Lady of LaSalette Council and a Eucharistic minister. For 55 years, she was a member of the Lafourche Parish Homemakers among various other clubs.

The family would like to thank the staff of Avanti Senior Living facility, in Youngsville, for their compassion and care of Ms. Dot for the last three months.

In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
