Dorothy "Dot" Clement Laque, 81, a resident of Boutte, LA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. A native of Chackbay, LA, she was born on June 1, 1935.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Albert Laque, Sr.; children, Albert "Bert" Laque, Jr. (Patti), Terry Laque, Louis "Jeff" Laque; grandchildren, Amanda Laque Burke (Ryan), Kristen Laque Picard (Mikey), Jared Laque; great grandchild, Michael Picard III; sister of Roy Clement, Betty Chiasson and Laura Theriot. Also dearly missed by Charlene Faucheaux, BFF, and her Bingo Buddies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bridget Trosclair Clement; brother, Leroy Clement and sister, Anna Mae Chauvin.
Dot's love of life, vibrant personality and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday with burial to follow in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, St. Charles Community, LA.
