Dorothy Mae Guidry Foret, 83, a native of Raceland and a resident of Gheens, died on June 12, 2012.
Visitation will be held from 9 am. to funeral time, 11 am., at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
She is survived by her husband Manunsell "M.J." J. Foret, son, Ted Foret and partner Jackson Chaisson, daughters, Ethel Toups and husband Kearney, Pansy Robichaux, and Cynthia Foret, daughter-in-law, Emma Foret, and brother, Willie Guidry, 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitley and Marie Louise Theriot Guidry, son, Elton Foret, and her sisters, Marie Louise Gaudet, and Evelina Guidry.
She was a parishoner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
