Dorothy Ford Borne

Dorothy Ford Borne, 95, a native of Boutte, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:00 until 11:00 am on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
She is survived by her son, Norman C. Borne, Jr.; daughter, Cheryl Bishop (Harold); grandson, Jeffery Bishop and great grandchildren, Bailey Bishop and Cohen Bishop.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. Borne, Sr.; parents, Peter Ford, Sr. and Velma Boyer Ford; brothers, Peter Ford, Jr. and Roy Ford and sister, Irma Fredrick.
Dorothy enjoyed bowling, sewing and listening to country music. She worked with her husband at Norman’s Exxon helping with bookkeeping, billing and any paperwork that was needed.
