Dorothy "Dot" Rita LeBoeuf Bonvillain

Dorothy “Dot” Rita LeBoeuf Bonvillain, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the age of 97. She was a native of Schriever and current resident of Thibodaux, LA.

 Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of seventy years, Graydon Raymond Bonvillain; parents, Paul and Elodie Arceneaux LeBoeuf; son, Arthur Paul Bonvillain; daughter, Karen B. Weick; brothers, James “Jim” LeBoeuf, Gerald LeBoeuf, John Kerry LeBoeuf and sister, Dolores Papa.

 She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Cain and husband Charles, Chris Sherman and husband Frank "Watkins", six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Bilello and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 Dorothy was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Gray, LA. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

 Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Gray. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in the St. Bridget Church Cemetery.

 The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Lafourche Home for the Aged and Thibodaux Regional Health System for their loving and tender care.
