Dorethea Rodrigue Champagne, 90, a native of Chackbay and a resident of Raceland, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Gracie Breaux (Carol) and Genevieve Falgout (Armand); grandchildren, Wendy Dominique (Tyrone) and Shawla Bergeron (Dustin) and great grandchildren, Allie and Lily Dominique and Tyler and Braden Bergeron.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip “Buck” Champagne; parents, Clovis and Alice Rodrigue; brothers, Norris and Blaize Rodrigue and sisters, Nellie Adams and Carrie Donnie.
Sincere thanks to all who touched her life in love. Special thanks to all caregivers, Dr. Chester Boudreaux and all loving people from Heart of Hospice.
