Dora Thibodeaux Loupe, 76, a native and resident of Lockport, died Saturday, May 19, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Savior Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Abel Loupe; four sons, Calvin Loupe Sr. and wife, Terry, Roland Loupe Sr., Nolan Loupe and wife, Annette, and William Loupe and wife, Stephanie; seven daughters, Betty Tastet and husband, Bobby, Edna Robichaux and husband, Ronald "Roach", Debra Boudreaux and companion, Marty Keith, Joan Adams and husband, Edward "T-Lee", Ruth Savoie and companion, Alvin Hebert, Mary Pearl Loupe, and Norlie Landry and husband, Mark; sister, Thelma Bouffanie; and 31 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferlie' and Noelie Thibodeaux; five infant children; brother, Paul Thibodeaux; sister, Helen Bouvier; and one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
