Donna Marie Brunet, 53, a native of Sulphur and resident of Houma, died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel. Religious services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with interment in St. Francis Mausoleum No. 2.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Anthony Fanguy Sr. and Annabelle, and mother and stepfather, Shirley Moore Bychok and Paul Bychok; two sons, Joshua and wife, Kseniia, and Ryan Brunet; sister-in-law, Bonnie Fanguy; stepdaughter, Danielle Brunet; two brothers, Glenn Fanguy Sr., and Darryl and wife, Kim Fanguy; three grandchildren, Logan Brunet, Cammie St. Marie and Rayland Brunet; and six nieces and nephews, Tara Daigle and husband, Terry, Kylee Fanguy, Toni Ann Fanguy, Becky Detiveaux and husband, Shawn, Patty Stevens and husband, Tim, and Christopher Fanguy and wife, Erica.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Brunet Jr.; maternal grandparents, Irvin and Nora Boudloche Moore; paternal grandparents, Clifford and Evelyne Tivet Fanguy; nephew, Glenn Fanguy Jr.; and brother, Anthony "Tony" Fanguy Jr.
She was a graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic High Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
